Visited Thai Express today! It was super crowded but we still managed to get a table. Food serving time was okay and acceptable. All the dishes were nice, and the plating was really pretty too! Everything we ordered came hot and tasted so good. I especially loved my Thai basil chicken with rice—it wasn’t too spicy or salty. But... a little bit disappointed with the dessert. The mango sticky rice was too sticky because they shaped it like a rice ball, so it was kinda hard to cut. Also, the coconut milk wasn’t enough—would be awesome if they gave a bit more. Service was top-notch from start to finish. All the staff were super friendly and polite, especially Encik Nizam (forgot his full name), who was so attentive and always smiling. He even noticed when one of our plates still had some food left and asked nicely if the food was okay or if we wanted to tapau. So thoughtful! One thing they could improve: would be great if they had an online ordering system. Rn, they just give you a piece of paper and a blunt pencil to write your order. A QR code menu and online ordering would make it so much easier! Definitely would come back again!

Mr Sopan and the team service very good.thanks the chief for cooking so authentic, feel like in Thailand. The team service make us feel very comfortable. Come here if you missed Thailand food . The red ruby desert the taste is nice. Keep up the good work.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved this Thai restaurant! The food was flavorful and authentic — every bite felt like comfort on a plate. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. What impressed me most was their flexibility. Even though the menu didn’t have the siakap 3 rasa dish, we requested it and the staff gladly said, “No problem, we’ll make it for you!” That kind of service really shows their passion to satisfy customers. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for not just great Thai food, but also a team that goes the extra mile to make sure you leave happy (and full ). Definitely a gem worth revisiting!

I recently visited Thai Express at Mid Valley and found the food to be quite nice. The dishes were flavorful and satisfying, definitely not bad considering the price. It offers good value for a quick Thai meal in a convenient location. Would recommend it for casual dining when craving Thai food.

update as of 4 october 2025: i got the red tomyum soup again, felt that the portion shrunk a little bit and i think they might have forgotten to add coconut milk in it :( got: - cashew chicken (must order) - mango salad - seafood salad - seafood pad thai - tom kha chicken soup (too coconutty, do not recommend) - vegetarian kuey teow - red tomyum soup (must order) - mango sticky rice food overall is good. only one miss which is the tom kha soup. no taste of good broth, just coconut milk. red tomyum soup is legit, comes with fresh seafood like prawns, squids (not rubbery) and fish slices. love it. all the mains we got have a good wok hei, and very flavourful. will be a returning customer.
